Yes, you can cancel Cable and still have T.V!

If you have a computer, you can watch television over the internet on your television!  You will need an HDMI cable to connect your computer to your t.v. You might want to go to an electronics store or to find out exactly which type of cable you will need, it will depend on the television you have and your computer.

Once you know how to connect your equipment, there are some great sites to go where you can watch shows FREE!!!

www.fancast.com

www.hulu.com

both of these sites are excellent and offer shows and movies for kids and adults..FREE!!  Plus there are old shows and new episodes!

AdSense

Some other great options are:

www.netfilx.com

At Netflix, you can sign up for a very cheep movie subscription as well as receive the option to rent t.v shows....some are FREE and others are really cheap!

www.sling.com

Sling is another site that you can watch free shows and movies.  They also offer the option to purchase a special box that allows you to download shows wireless and watch them on different t.v's in your house...check this page for more information:

Apple also offers their product called Apple T.V.  This is like an iPod for your television.  You download shows from iTunes and watch them on your t.v.

Don't forget that you can also go to the websites of your favorite channels for FREE and watch full episodes of your favorite shows.  Most times, they re-broadcast the new episodes the next day.

Also, your local library has tons of videos that you can rent for FREE!!!

There are lots of options for free stuff, you just have to do a little digging to find them! As the trends change and technology updates, I bet there will be even more opportunities to find free or really cheap programing.
